Self-doubt….….

That voice in your head that tells you can’t do it. That you’re not good enough. That you don’t have the skills or the knowledge to achieve the success you want.

And, it’s not a little voice.

It’s deafening.

And, it drowns out all positive thoughts.

Self-doubt is something we all can relate to. No one is immune from the overwhelming powers of self-doubt.

But, giving into that doubt--letting it control you—is worse than failure.

It’s TRUE! Here’s why…

Self-doubt stops you from trying. It stops you from allowing yourself to dream.

Boo, you can’t let that happen! You have way too much to offer.

Your value is real. You have a unique way of helping people...and they need you.

Unfortunately, self-doubt isn’t something that just disappears when you want it to.

But, it is something you can overcome. Yep!

It’s just a question of your mindset.

You have it in you to achieve anything you set your mind to.

Will it be easy? No.

Do you hold all the skills and knowledge you need for success right now? Maybe not.

Is it possible that you’ll fail along the way? Sure.

Are you capable of achieving your goals? ABSOLUTELY!

Listen, I get it! It’s hard to ignore self-doubt.

So, you might be thinking - how do I power through the worry? The uncertainty? The fear?

Here’s what’s up. You have the ability to learn the necessary skills and knowledge you need to accomplish your goals.

That’s a wonderful thing: You don’t have to have everything you need right now. But, you do have the ability to learn anything you need to be successful.

That mindset??

It will help you overcome self-doubt.

So, when that self-doubt comes creeping in, remind yourself that:

Success is a work in progress.

Keep working towards your goals.

Think little steps instead of big leaps. It’s not a race.

Allow yourself to try new things and adjust the things that aren’t working.

And, whatever you do, keep moving forward.

Failure is an opportunity to learn.

And the best news is? You normally learn way more from your failures than you do from your successes.

So, embrace mistakes. Learn from them.

And, last but not least, you are capable of achieving your goals.

You don’t have to have all the answers or skills. But, always remember you are able to learn the things you need to know.

Your perseverance to keep moving towards your goals is what will bring success.
